1. How do I begin using Mvelopes Personal Mobile?

In order to use Mvelopes Personal Mobile, you will need:

  • To be a registered Mvelopes Personal member. Click here to begin your FREE 30-day trial.
  • An Internet-enabled mobile phone that supports WAP 2.0 or native Internet browsing.
  • A data plan on your Internet-enabled mobile phone. If you are unsure if you have a data plan, see question 2, below.

Mvelopes Mobile is a FREE service to all Mvelopes Personal Members. No registration is necessary. Simply enter the URL, https://my.mvelopes.com/mpmobile/ into your browser on your Internet-enabled mobile phone. To log in, enter your Mvelopes username and password just as you would from your computer.

2. Is my phone supported?

Most Internet-enabled mobile phones are supported by Mvelopes Personal Mobile. Your phone must support WAP 2.0 or have native browsing capabilities. We also recommend a minimum screen size of 128 x 128 pixels to avoid formatting issues. 3. What features are supported in Mvelopes Personal Mobile?

Mvelopes Personal Mobile currently includes the following subset of features of Mvelopes Personal:

  • View envelope balances
  • View account balances
  • View and assign new transactions (no splitting)
  • Assign unmatched manual transactions
  • Assign account-to-account transfers
  • Transfer funds between envelopes

4. Is there a fee to use Mvelopes Personal Mobile?

No. Mvelopes Mobile is a FREE service to all Mvelopes Personal members. (Regular charges from your service provider for Internet usage may apply. Check with your service provider for costs and conditions.)

5. How does Mvelopes handle security with my mobile phone?

When using your mobile phone to access Mvelopes Personal, you are required to enter your secure username and password just as when logging in from your computer. Mvelopes Mobile encrypts all sensitive information using Wireless Transport Layer Security (WTLS) protocol, which provides the highest level of security available today. Additionally, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption during transmission over the web ensures that your data is always safe and secure. Data is then stored on In2M's firewall-protected web servers, which are monitored for reliability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and undergo regular third-party security audits.

6. Can I use Mvelopes Personal Mobile if I am not an Mvelopes Personal member?

No. Mvelopes Mobile is a service provided to Mvelopes Personal members and cannot be sold or used separately. If you are not an Mvelopes Personal member, you can sign up for a FREE 30-day trial, which includes access to Mvelopes Mobile.

7. Do I have to sync the information on my mobile phone and my computer?

No. Mvelopes Personal Mobile is a service that allows you to access your Mvelopes Personal information via an Internet connection on your mobile phone. Mvelopes Mobile simply reformats your data to be viewed on the smaller mobile screen. Any transaction assignments, transfers or other activity performed on your mobile phone is exactly the same as if it is performed using your computer, and vice versa. There is no need to sync the information.
